Stop renting a CRM. Own one that fits.
Most teams pay per seat for a CRM they use a small slice of, whether it is Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive or Microsoft Dynamics. Renewals only go one way, every new hire is another license, and every change waits on an admin or a consultant. Others have outgrown a spreadsheet and do not want to start renting.
MoGility replaces it with a CRM built around how your team actually works. It costs a fraction of the license bill, ships in weeks with AI-assisted development, and you own it outright.
The renewal bill
Same 40 people. Very different bill.
Year 3, after the one-time build

- Enterprise licenses
- $94,400
- Add-ons
- $13,500
- Admin and consultants
- $60,000
- Yearly price increase
- +6% a year
Your own CRM, unlimited users
- Licenses
- $0
- Hosting and support
- $27,600
- Changes
- Included
- Code and data
- Yours
Illustrative, using list prices and the standard support plan. Run your own numbers
The problem
You bought a platform. You needed a tool.
Renewals only go one way
List prices rose again in 2025, and every new hire is another license.
You use a fraction of it
Most teams use a small slice of the platform but pay for all of it.
Every change needs a specialist
Admins, consultants and release cycles for what should be a quick tweak.
Your team works around it
Spreadsheets, side tools and Slack threads fill in where the CRM does not fit.
The alternative
A CRM that fits like it was made for you. Because it was.
Cheaper
No per-seat tax.
Pay once to build it, then a flat monthly fee to run it. Hiring ten more reps does not add ten more licenses.
Tailored
Your process, not theirs.
Your stages, your fields, your handoffs. The screens your team needs and none of the hundreds they do not.
Faster
Weeks, not quarters.
AI-assisted development gets you a working prototype two weeks after the assessment, and later changes ship in days instead of waiting in an admin queue.
Owned
Your code. Your data.
It runs on standard, open technology in a cloud account you control. No lock-in and no surprise renewals.
Not sure you should leave?
Seven questions, two minutes.
The fit check tells you straight whether a custom CRM makes sense for you, including when it does not. The result shows right away, no email needed.
How it works
From your current CRM to your own in about ten weeks.
A fixed-price process with a working prototype early, so you see exactly what you are getting before the full build.

Audit
We sit with the people who use your CRM every day and map what they actually do: objects, workflows, reports, integrations. Most teams find a big share of their CRM setup goes unused. This is the $3,500 scoped assessment, credited toward the build.
- Usage and license audit
- Workflow and data model map
- Integration inventory
- Fixed-price proposal

02Weeks 4 to 5
Prototype
AI-assisted development means you are clicking through a working version of your CRM, with your real data structure, within two weeks. Not slides. Software.
- Clickable working build
- Your fields, stages and views
- Feedback rounds with your team
- Scope locked before full build

Build and migrate
We finish the build, connect your tools, and run test migrations of your data, from any CRM or spreadsheet. Both systems run side by side until your team signs off.
- Integrations and automations
- Full data migration with test runs
- SSO, roles and audit logs
- Training for your team

Own and evolve
You own the code and the data. We host, monitor and keep improving it on a flat monthly plan, and changes ship in days.
- Hosting, backups, monitoring
- Security updates
- Small changes included
- Code handover any time
Why it is faster now
AI changed what custom software costs.
Custom used to mean six-figure budgets and year-long projects, which is why off-the-shelf platforms won. AI-assisted development cuts the build time, so software built for one company is now cheaper than renting a platform built for everyone.
Prototype in days
AI writes the first draft of screens, data models and integrations. We spend our time on your workflow, not boilerplate.
Migration done carefully
AI-assisted mapping of your current objects and fields, checked by engineers, with test runs you sign off on.
Changes that ship quickly
Requests that would sit in an admin backlog for weeks ship in days, with review and tests.
AI inside your CRM, too
Summaries, follow-up drafts and data clean-up built into your workflow, on models you choose, without paying per seat for them.
Built on boring, standard technology
Any good developer can pick it up. That is the point.
- TypeScript
- Postgres
- Your cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, Vercel)
- SSO (Google, Microsoft, Okta)
- Role-based access and audit logs
- Automated backups
Comparison
A per-seat CRM vs. a custom CRM: an honest comparison
Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive and Dynamics are great platforms for some companies. For many teams of 10 to 500 people, they are an expensive way to get a small set of features.
| Topic | Per-seat CRM | Custom-built CRM |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Per user, per month, rising most years | One-time build plus flat hosting and support |
| Cost when you add people | Every new hire adds a license | No seat cost: add people for free |
| Fit to your process | Configure around the platform's data model | Built around your actual workflow |
| Time to change something | Admin queue, consultants, release cycles | Days, with AI-assisted development |
| Who owns the code and data | The vendor hosts and controls the platform | You own the code, the database and the hosting |
| Interface | Hundreds of features most teams never use | Only the screens your team needs |
| Ecosystem | Large app marketplace | Direct integrations with the tools you use |
| Best for | Large orgs needing the full platform | Teams of 10 to 500 with a clear process |
Cost
Most CRMs charge per user, per month, and the useful features sit in the higher tiers. Salesforce is the clearest example: at list price (October 2026), Sales Cloud ranges from $25 for Starter to $350 for Unlimited, before add-ons, and Enterprise and Unlimited prices rose about 6% in August 2025. Admin salaries and consultant fees often add as much again. A custom CRM is a one-time build plus a flat running cost that does not grow with headcount.
Fit
A platform is designed to work for every company, so it fits none exactly. Teams end up bending their process to the platform, or bending the platform with layers of customization that someone has to maintain. A custom CRM starts from your process: your pipeline stages, your handoffs, your reports.
Speed of change
In most CRM setups, a new field or workflow goes through an admin backlog, sometimes a consultant, and a release window. With a custom CRM built using AI-assisted development, most changes ship in days.
Ownership and lock-in
With a per-seat CRM, you rent access to a platform and your data lives in their system. With a custom CRM, the code, database and hosting are yours. If you part ways with us, you keep everything.
When to stay where you are
If your business depends on many marketplace apps, you have a mature in-house team running your CRM, or you use the platform broadly across sales, service, marketing and commerce, switching may not be worth it. We would rather tell you that up front.

Salesforce presets use published list prices as of October 2026 (source), billed annually, before any negotiated discount. For any other CRM, enter what you pay per user. Custom figures use standard engagement pricing. Everything here is an estimate; we will firm it up on a call.
What is included on the current CRM side
Licenses at your price, per-user add-ons (quoting, API access, extra modules), your admin and consultant spend, and the yearly price increase.
What is included on the custom side
A one-time fixed-price build, plus a flat monthly fee for hosting, monitoring, backups, security updates and small changes.
What is not included
Negotiated discounts, your team's time during migration, and the cost of the workarounds people use today. We cover all three on a call.

FAQ
Straight answers.
Who maintains the CRM after you build it?
We do, under a flat monthly support plan that covers hosting, monitoring, security updates and small changes. If you would rather run it yourselves, we hand over the code, documentation and a walkthrough for your developers. Either way, you are not locked in.
Isn't custom software risky compared to a big vendor?
The risk used to be cost and time. AI-assisted development has cut both a lot. We also reduce risk by shipping a working prototype two weeks after the assessment, running both systems side by side during migration, and building on standard tools (Postgres, TypeScript, mainstream cloud hosting) that any developer can pick up.
How do you migrate our data out of our current CRM?
We export your objects, records, files and history through your current system's export tools and API, or straight from your spreadsheets, map them to the new data model, and run test migrations you can check before cutover. Nothing is switched off until your team signs off.
What about security and compliance?
Your CRM runs in your own cloud account, or one we manage, with SSO, role-based access, audit logs, encrypted data at rest and in transit, and automated backups. If you have specific requirements (SOC 2 vendor reviews, HIPAA, data residency), raise them in the assessment and we will scope the build around them.
We rely on integrations. Will those still work?
We build direct integrations with the tools you actually use: email, calendar, accounting, support desk, marketing automation and data warehouse. Most teams use a handful of marketplace apps or add-ons; we replace those with focused features or direct API connections.
What if we need a change later?
You ask, and it ships in days rather than waiting in an admin queue. Small changes are included in support; bigger features are quoted up front.
When should we stay where we are?
If you depend heavily on many marketplace apps, already have a strong in-house admin team, or need very broad platform features across many departments, your current platform may still be the right call. The fit check will tell you that honestly.
What happens to our reports and dashboards?
We rebuild the reports your team actually uses, usually fewer and sharper than what you have today, and can sync your data to a warehouse or BI tool for ad-hoc analysis.
