Going Technical
Becoming technical later in a career is a real path, and a walkable one. It means picking a durable skill, using AI as a tutor rather than a crutch, building something real, and then turning the new capability into a title change, which is the part nobody teaches.
This track is taught from direct experience: self-taught, AI-assisted, starting in 2024, with the architecture and the judgment still a human job.
Map
$500
For
Someone who wants to become technical and does not know where to start.
Format
Self-paced. Recorded modules plus worksheets.
Covers
- Choosing a durable platform over a fad, and reading the job market honestly
- AI as a tutor, and the distinction that decides whether you learn anything
- Building proof that counts: portfolio pieces against certificates
- Turning a new skill into a title: the conversation itself, scripted
- A full case study, including what it cost in hours and what did not work
Not included
No 1:1 time, no feedback, no portfolio review.
The modules are being produced from live Apprentice and Build sessions rather than written cold, so they take a little longer. Checkout opens when they are ready.
Build
$1,500 per seat, 8 to 12 seats
For
The same person, who needs a deadline and other people doing it alongside them.
Format
Six weeks, one 90-minute live session a week, 8 to 12 seats. Everyone ships one portfolio piece by the end.
You get
- Everything in Map
- Six live sessions with live Q&A
- One portfolio piece, scoped in week one and shipped by week six
- Two rounds of written feedback on that piece
- A cohort channel for the six weeks
- A demo session at the end where each person presents
Not included
1:1 coaching, job placement or introductions. The channel closes with the cohort.
Build runs on the Map modules, so it opens when they do. One checkout per person attending.
Apprentice
$6,000
For
One person, serious, who wants to come out the other side with a title change.
Format
Twelve weeks, 1:1. A weekly 60-minute session plus async throughout. You build something real against a real deadline.
You get
- Weekly 1:1 working sessions
- A substantial build, scoped to your target role and reviewed continuously
